Posavatz Hound

The Posavaz Hound, also known as the Posavina Hound, is a breed of dog of Croatian origin that stands out for its ability as a hunting dog. It stands out for its reddish wheaten coat present in all its shades.

Males usually weigh between 20 and 25 kg, while females weigh approximately 18 to 22 kg. This breed belongs to Group 6 of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI), which is the group of hounds, scent hounds and similar breeds.

The base color is reddish wheaten in all shades, with white markings on the neck, forechest and chest, tail, head and lower limbs. The Posavaz Hound is characterized as an energetic dog with great physical endurance. They are known for their excellent scent and tracking abilities, which makes them excellent hunting dogs.
